 Uploaded This story is called Holes. The boys in the story have to dig holes.
 Uploaded Stanley got a letter from his mom. She wrote that his dad is still trying to invent something to make old shoes smell better.
 Uploaded The Warden tells Mr. P. that the boys are getting too much water. That is not true. Digging is hot work that makes you thirsty.
 Uploaded Later that day Stanley gets hit in the head with a shovel. But has to keep digging!
 Uploaded Stanley writes a letter to his mom. Zero tells Stanley he does not know how to read. Will Stanley teach him? Stanley says no.
 Uploaded One of the boys took Mr. Sir's sunflower seeds out of his truck. He threw them at Stanley. Oh no! Here comes Mr. Sir!
 Uploaded Mr. Sir thinks Stanley took his sunflower seeds. He is mad! He takes Stanley to the Warden. What will happen?
 Uploaded Stanley did not take the sunflower seeds. But he was glad to have a break and ride in Mr. Sir’s truck.
 Uploaded The Warden does not care about the sunflower seeds. She gets mad at Mr. Sir for bothering her.
 Uploaded The Warden uses finger nail polish with poison. She scratches Mr. Sir's face. He gets a bad cut. She is mean!
