 Uploaded This story is called Holes. The boys in the story have to dig holes.
 Uploaded X-ray, one of the boys, asks Stanley to give him anything he finds. X-ray wants to turn it in. X-ray wants a break.
 Uploaded Mr. P. asked the boys what they want to do in the future. What do you like to do?
 Uploaded Mr. P. asked Zero what he likes to do. Zero said he likes to dig holes.
 Uploaded Stanley finds a gold tube. He gives it to X-ray. X-ray gives it to Mr. P. and X-ray gets a break!
 Uploaded Mr. P. told the Warden. The gold tube is important. She came to see where the boys found it.
 Uploaded The Warden tells the boys to keep digging holes. They move dirt in a wheelbarrow.
 Uploaded Stanley thinks they are not just digging holes. The Warden is looking for something. What?
 Uploaded It is hot. It is dusty. The boys are thirsty. They have to keep digging.
 Uploaded The boys are tired. Stanley gets hit in the head with a shovel. But he has to keep digging!
 Uploaded Stanley writes another letter to his mom. Zero tells Stanley that he does not know how to read.
 Uploaded The next day the boys dig more holes.
