We only use pictures that have been shared with the Creative Commons license and those with no known copyright. You may click on photo credits link in any book to link to the pages on Flickr for the photos. Of course, the pictures remain the property of photographers who took them and all the restrictions they placed on their use still apply.

If you object to the use of your pictures in these books for kids with disabilities, just let me know and I’ll take the book down.

A Pig Goes Up and Down

 Flickr Once there was a young man named Elya.
 Flickr Elya lived in a country far away. Elya loved a girl named Myra.
 Flickr Myra did not love Elya.
 Flickr Elya wanted to buy a present for Myra. Elya had no money to buy a present for Myra.
 Flickr Elya went to his friend. Elya's friend was an old woman.
 Flickr The old woman gave Elya a small pig. The pig would be a present for Myra.
 Flickr The old woman told Elya to take the small pig up the mountain every day.
 Flickr The old woman told Elya to have the small pig drink from the stream on top of the mountain.
 Flickr Drinking from the stream would make the pig grow big and strong.
 Flickr Elya carried the pig up the mountain.
 Flickr The pig drank from the stream. Then Elya carried the pig down the mountain.
 Flickr Elya carried the pig up and down the mountain every day. Soon the pig grew big and strong.
 Flickr Elya gave the pig to Myra.
 Flickr Myra did not like the pig. Myra still did not love Elya.
 Flickr Elya was sad. He decided to leave his country and go far away to America.
